I&#039;m not sure i understand this statement. If the contents of your block are &quot;ByBlock&quot; then the block will adopt the color of whatever layer you drop it on. If the contents of your block are &quot;ByLayer&quot; then the block should maintain the colors of the layer they are on.</description>

		<description>In SI5.2 the dropping under the current layer was not working right. If you drop a block from the category accessories under current layer “0”, also was create the layer “accessories”, then if you turn off “accessories” layer while keeping on layer “0”, the block that was dropped under current layer “0” was turn off too.  Now in SI5.5 does as AutoCAD regularly do with any entity in a drawing page, and no longer creates the block’s category layer.</description>
