The Misc. Parts fields in SI5 are treated a bit differently than other fields. One difference is that Misc Parts are not taxable. The value for Misc Parts is added (or subtracted if negative) from the project total after all taxes have been applied. Clients use these fields to account for a variety of things on a project, e.g. shipping/freight, travel time/expenses, and even discounts. While these fields do display on SI5 Proposal reports, they do not display on any Management reports. We have created and posted two reports that will display the Misc. Parts total for projects based off of the stock “Detail Cost Summary” and “Gross Profit” reports. Depending on what you use these fields for, you may want to download and import these reports for use. They can be found here under the “Management Reports” section.
