FSR will also launch a host of AV equipment including Floor Boxes and a NEW FLEX System. This amazing self-contained control system offers valuable features, ease of use, and sensible pricing. In addition, the Company will highlight its popular Ceiling Boxes, the only ceiling boxes that offer both agency and plenum ratings; its Pathfinder Line of Matrix Switchers; and the Twister Pro transmitter/receiver system.

All of FSR’s latest products will be on exhibit at InfoComm, June 12 – 14, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, Booth 2259.

Video Surveillance Products Leader IC Realtime Joins Verizon Partner Program

Joint national program opens doors for integrators to tap vertical markets by deploying
custom-tailored HD video surveillance systems transmitted via Verizon Wireless;  represents great opportunities for integrators to create recurring monthly revenues

IC Realtime, a global leader in the design and manufacture of advanced visual surveillance solutions for residential, commercial, industrial, governmental and educational channels, today announced that it has joined the Verizon Partner program.  The move is the first initiative by IC Realtime’s M2M (Machine-to-Machine) Advisors Group, a newly-formed division operating from within its Pompano Beach, Florida headquarters.

Under the program IC Realtime and Verizon Wireless Connected Technologies sales teams will work with qualified IC Realtime integration companies (classified by IC Realtime as its M2M Master Integrators) to develop and deploy custom-tailored HD video surveillance solutions via the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network.

According to IC Realtime’s M2M Advisor Group President Adam Cohen, the types of applications span residential, commercial and industrial to local, state and federal branches of government.

”The program helps integrators branch-out into emerging vertical markets such as remote autonomous solar-powered systems; video over cellular; cloud-based HD-video and data storage; remote M2M command and control, and internet and video redundancy,” says Cohen.  “These powerful new offerings will allow them to sell services and build recurring monthly revenue streams previously deemed unobtainable or perhaps unforeseen.”

To help integrators seize the wide range of opportunities that exist, IC Realtime will aggregate talent from its consortium of integration companies, training them in Megapixel IP video over cellular networks, command and control over remote locations, autonomous solar systems, and wireless technology.

“Such a network of skilled connected technology experts can assist the business interests of manufacturers, service providers, integrators, and consumers of electronic physical security equipment,” adds Cohen.  “We believe that our pool of M2M Master Integrators will be the catalyst for a global paradigm shift in how security is procured, installed and serviced.”

Useful for the venture will be Video iVAULT™, an M2M cloud-based platform that IC Realtime created to provide live video on demand, without the need for special software or complicated hardware solutions.  This platform allows wireless cameras and recorders to send event video and alerts to the IC Realtime Cloud to be securely stored long-term via wireless networks.  Additionally, this solution further reduces costs by limiting the amount of video storage devices needed to be deployed onsite.

IC Realtime has also created a failover option for its DVR / NVR systems solutions to monitor in real time, grant access, communicate, and secure environments via the Verizon network.  This redundancy feature provides crucial backup when power and internet lines go down.  According to Cohen, the failover option is yet another example of previously untapped revenue source for integrators.

New HDMI Cable Extender: HX102

Tributaries proudly announces the introduction of its
New HDMI Cable Extender: HX102

Tributaries proudly announces a patented, active device to increase the performance of most HDMI cables from Standard to High Speed. The ELEC-HX102, a 12” light-weight dongle/HDMI cable, is designed to be connected at the display end of a long Standard HDMI cable. Engineered with auto-sensing technology, the HX102 can sense the length of a cable and provide the proper amount of equalization required for that length. To accomplish this amazing result, the HX102 electronics has an independent adaptive equalizer in each of its three data channels (red, green & blue). Each equalizer analyzes the incoming signal and determines the exact amount of equalization to apply thus resetting the signal to its original condition. The signal then passes through a 10” HDMI cable that plugs into the display. To ensure a secure and tight fit, the HX102’s male HDMI connector is equipped with Tributaries boss elements.

Equipped with 2 LEDs, one red and one green, the HX102 can display incorrect operation. If the clock signal is lost, the RED LED will illuminate. This can occur in the event of a damaged cable, a defective driver, or a lost connection to the equalizer.  The Green LED will illuminate when power is supplied to the HX102. Power can be supplied in either of two ways; using the provided power supply or drawing on the voltage within the HDMI cable.  The HX102 comes supplied with a 5V/1A Power Supply and a cable terminated at one end with a USB “A” connector and a barrel-type DC connector at the other end.  If there is an adequate voltage supply on the HDMI cable, no external power is required. If, however, an external power supply is required, the supplied cable can be connected from the HX102 directly to the display’s USB receptacle. If the display lacks a USB receptacle, the cable can be connected to the included USB to AC adapter which can be plugged into an available AC outlet.

The HX102 is recommended for long HDMI cables. It is not designed to work with HDMI cables with built in electronics. The HX102 can be purchased separately for pre-existing HDMI cables in the wall or it can also be purchased as a kit; the IHEC-X contains one Tributaries new IHEC 12m, 15m, 20m, or 25m cable bundled with the ELEC-HX102 as a special packaged price. This HX102 is not compatible with “Go Technology” or other active or passive HDMI electronics.

The HX102 price is in stock. Look for it on the Tributaries website: or call Tributaries Customer Service at 888-554-2514.

Vaddio’s New EasyUSB PRO MIC I/O Allows Any Third-Party Microphone to be a USB Microphone When Paired with an EasyUSB Mixer/Amp

Now Any Professional Microphone Can be Used with Vaddio’s EasyUSB Audio Solutions

Vaddio launched the EasyUSB PRO MIC I/O Interface, designed to integrate any professional microphone with Vaddio’s EasyUSB audio solutions. The PRO MIC I/O Interface incorporates Vaddio’s unique SmartMIC technology into the device, providing distributed multi-channel acoustical echo cancellation and automatic microphone mixing. Additional DSP/Digital Signal Processing technologies include noise reduction, microphone gating, equalization, filtering and AGC for automatically calibrating to the live requirements of the room.

The PRO MIC I/O comes equipped with four independent echo cancellation microphone inputs and one discreet output for interfacing to the Vaddio EasyUSB Mixer/Amp. The system can be expanded to support eight microphones by adding an additional PRO MIC I/O.

“When we launched our EasyUSB MicPODs we heard from a lot of our integrators that while they loved them, they also wanted to have the capability of adding any professional microphone to their system designs,” explained CEO, Rob Sheeley. “So we are responding to their requests with the launch of the PRO MIC I/O. We believe that this is a game changer for consultants and integrators because they can now integrate the world’s best microphones into their Vaddio USB solutions. The audio quality of Microsoft Lync, Cisco WebEx and Skype audio calls will be amazing and with our state of the art DSP signal processing, they sound crystal clear and echo free.”

With Vaddio’s SmartMIC technology, there’s no more complex programming or time-consuming setups. No more having to relearn the room every time a change occurs.

“Plug in the microphone of your choice, adjust the input gain and let the PRO MIC I/O do the rest,” says Sheeley. “Once again Vaddio has given you The Art Of Easy.”

Vaddio Combines Echo Cancellation and Automatic Mixing Into TRIO Microphones with SmartMIC Technology

Three discreet microphones, built-in acoustical echo cancellation and automatic mixing are all combined into just one attractive tabletop or ceiling mounted enclosure

hires-TRIO_MIC_CeilingVaddio announces its revolutionary TRIO audio line with SmartMIC technology. TRIO SmartMIC technology is the industry’s first microphone system to incorporate Digital Signal Processing and echo cancellation directly into the microphone itself. The internal DSP features microphone gating, equalization, AGC and noise cancellation. With SmartMIC technology, internal DSP and echo cancellation can now be integrated into any manufacturer’s audio mixing system.

Each TRIO SmartMIC is equipped with an array of three electret condenser microphones positioned to form a 360-degree pickup pattern. This unique technology is based on the microphone’s ability to actively manage the room’s live audio for gain, gating and echo cancellation. Once detected, the microphone will adjust and mix down to a single output. Because the intelligence is inside the microphone, any mixer can now be used in a live collaboration application for audio conferencing and achieve outstanding results.

“Our TRIO SmartMIC technology was designed to allow our integrators to have a simple and less expensive approach to adding live audio conferencing into their room designs,” explained CEO of Vaddio, Rob Sheeley. “As our industry moves away from designing presentation-only rooms into designing interactive collaborative workspaces, adding clear, echo-free audio has become a major priority. Designing complex and expensive echo cancellation systems for one room just doesn’t work in a world where collaboration is being deployed in EVERY room.”

The TRIO MIC I/O interface device allows the connection of up to four SmartMICs and because each input is effectively running three microphones on three different channels, users can technically run 12 microphones all with independent echo cancellation and internal DSP. For installations requiring more than 12 SmartMICs, just add an additional  TRIO MIC I/O for 12 more channels.

With Vaddio’s new SmartMIC technology, there’s no more complex programming. No more time-consuming setups or outrageous equipment costs. Want to hang the microphone from the ceiling? The same SmartMIC technology in the table microphone is available in a ceiling version as well.
