Classroom/Small Office: CLSO-612

Atlona is proud to introduce the CLSO612 multi-swticher and 4k scaler. Easy to integrate, the CLSO-612 was designed for conference rooms, classrooms and Huddle rooms with inputs at lecterns, tables, and desks. Sources and displays can be located up to 230 feet or 70 meters from the switcher with HDBaseT inputs and outputs. Local HDMI and multifunction analog inputs work with any source. Combined with great features such as: 4K up scaling and down scaling, microphone ducking, and audio control, this is all you need for your presentation AV system.

AT-HD-CLSO

The Atlona AT-CLSO-612 is an all-in-one solution design specifically for applications that require a mix of digital and analog input sources. The CLSO-612 is the perfect solution when you require one appliance that does it all and still costs far less then competitive alternative solutions.

The CLSO-612 offers a robust mix of inputs including two HDMI ports, two HDBaseT ports and two multi-purpose analog ports. As for outputs, the CLSO-612 offers one HDBaseT port with one mirrored HDMI port. This unit supports HDBaseT specifications for signal distribution up to 230 feet or 70 meters. In addition the CLSO-612 offers microphone input with internal mixing, decreasing background audio volume when the mic is in use.

This CLSO-612 multi-format switcher is also a scaler capable of distributing and up-scaling 4K and Ultra-HD resolutions. In addition the CLSO-612 offers Power over Category Cable, for HDBaseT inputs and outputs removing the need for extra power supplies. And, for reduced system cost and installation complexity, the CLSO-612 features Analog audio do-embedding with volume control. Finally, the CLSO-612 includes TCP/IP, RS-232 and IR control for easy system integration with a simple to use GUI interface for setup.

Kramer’s Newest ProScale™ Digital Scaler/Switchers Have Built−In Mass Notification & Emergency Communication System

Educational and/or Corporate Campus−Wide Emergency Alert Capability

Kramer Electronics is pleased to announce that its newest line of ProScale™ digital scaler/switchers, the VP−770, VP−771, VP−773, VP−774, VP−773AMP and VP−774AMP are all equipped with a unique built−in Mass Notification & Emergency Communication (MNEC) feature.

Kramer MNEC Alert PhotoThis essential feature provides the ability to have an education facility, corporate campus, or stadium−wide emergency notification immediately displayed on connected projection screens and monitors.  When connected to a network, the Kramer ProScale digital scaler/switchers can be set up to automatically display an alert message.  Notifications include flexible options such as the inclusion of an audio alert siren, and the choice of displaying either a text crawler or a text window.  The system can even have the Kramer ProScale digital scaler/switchers power up displays that are off in order to display these important messages.

Messages with “Extreme” and “Severe” headers appear nearly full screen and cover any other content. Messages with lower levels of severity appear as text crawls along the bottom of the image. The new Kramer line of presentation switchers only requires an ethernet connection to the appropriate campus network.

Emergency alert messages are composed and transmitted using the XML−based Common Alert Protocol (CAP) application. This allows a warning message to be consistently disseminated simultaneously over many warning systems to multiple proprietary applications and devices. These CAP alerts can include specifics about weather (hurricanes, flooding, storms, etc.), safety and security, as well as secondary functions, such as alert tones, horns, buzzers, and sirens.

The system complies with the official national warning system standard in the United States, the Emergency Alert System (EAS), which works in coordination with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and a number of US national emergency agencies.
