D-Tools was founded in 1998 by Adam Stone. He launched the first version of what is now known as System Integrator software at CEDIA 1998 as Digi-tools CE. 10 years later, D-Tools is a worldwide leader in system integration software, and the company announced the latest version of its award-winning System Integrator software, SI5.5 in conjunction with participation in the company’s tenth CEDIA Expo.
“We are extremely pleased and honored to be celebrating our tenth anniversary at the show where we essentially launched our company,” said Adam Stone, President and CEO of D-Tools. “We’ve gone though and witnessed many changes within our company and the industry, and we’re proud to launch the newest version of our software that has helped thousands of leading integrators build their business. We look forward to serving the needs of our customers for the next ten years and beyond.”
This year’s CEDIA Expo was one of the most successful in the company’s history, with near record software sales and a warm reception for the new version. The company’s primary message about a connected, data-driven integration process resonated with many of the attendees.
In other CEDIA news, D-Tools’ Director of Sales Seth Rubenstein was recently honored as the 2008 Manufacturer Volunteer of the Year. The award was given in recognition of Rubenstein’s contribution to the CEDIA Management Conference and other activities within the Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association. The Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA) has recognized a handful of its members for their achievements and service to CEDIA and the electronic systems industry with its Electronic Lifestyles(R) Industry Awards. CEDIA members were presented with awards at the organization’s annual banquet during CEDIA EXPO 2008 held in Denver.
“We are extremely pleased for Seth to be honored for his contributions and efforts to CEDIA,” said Adam Stone, President and CEO of D-Tools. “Seth brings a tremendous amount of passion and dedication to our customers in his role as Director of Sales. When asked to contribute his efforts to CEDIA he has responded with the same level of energy and dedication.”
