A common requirement for most companies is the sharing of files. Those files are usually documents, drawings, manuals, images, or anything else related to a project and customer. D-Tools can help you consolidating this requirement so you no longer need to use a file sharing software. This is very useful to attach a PDF of a proposal report. Here is the procedure:

From the Project Editor Window, do the following:

1. Select the project you want to add a file

2. Check Out the project

3. Click on the “Files” tab

4. Click on the “Add” button

5. Browse and select the files you want to associate with the project.

6. Those files will be automatically copied to the local project folder, and associated with the project.

Once this project is checked out by another user, they will have access to those files.
