Not All Leads Are Created Equal
I just read this post, Not All Leads are Created Equal by Bob Brauer, President of StrikeIron a Data as a Services software company. I thought it was interesting and relevant because he came up with a formula for scoring leads similar to my Pre-Qual score approach as documented in this post on Explaining the D-Tools CRM System – Lead Management.
Bob’s formula is much more complex and accurate than what I had created but the concept of using a scoring system to judge the quality of a lead before the sales team is engaged is the same.
However the most interesting thing about this post is that at the time I was looking for a way to verify email addresses without actually sending an email and that is exactly one of the services that StrikeIron provides.
